Akony Bedo Orthodox Sub Parish.
This sub-parish is located in Gulu municipality, Akwa county, Unyama sub-county, Pakwelo parish and it was started in 1964 by late Fr. Atim Athanasios. After Fr. Oruk Emmanuel, presently Fr. George Lakony is the parish priest. It has a temporary church structure with hundreds of parishioners and continuous catechesis. It has a nursery school, elderly group and a youth group. Health Centre is under construction, donation of faithful from USA.
