St. Oikoumenios Orthodox Church – Bukuya.

This parish is located in Mubende District, Bukuya subcounty, Kabosi parish, Kyamugugu village. It was started in 1971 by Mzee Namalego Alexander, Nalongo Dorothy, Late Fr. Ssembirige Nicholas and Late Musubawa Samuel. After the death of Fr. Ssembirige Nicholas Fr. Andrew Kato is the parish priest.It has a well-built Church in 2000, consecrated, donation of St. Oikoumenios Brotherhood, Trikala. Has 41 acres of land and title in process. This parish has sub parishes like:

• Kikwatambogo community in Kiboga District
• Kalonga community in Mubende District.
• Kasanda community in Mubende District .
