With a few days before the Holy week, considered the epitome of spiritual renewal in the Orthodox Faith, His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II of Africa, in a shocking interview with “Antitheses” a Greek Media channel refers to the African continent as a Humble and Despised one but bearing a Great Hope for Orthodoxy.
The interview comes just a few months after his pastoral visit to Dioceses in the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa in February 2025, including Uganda, within which its coverage is more featured, in the Holy Diocese of Gulu and Northern Uganda.
